Elpas Door Kit - Wandering Resident & Patient Protection

This Out-of-the-Box starter kit includes everything you need to install a Single-Door Wandering Patient Solution that responds to the need for cost-effective protection of senior residents or ambulatory patients suffering from Alzheimer's  or other forms of dementia.

The Elpas Door Kit reduces the need to continuously supervise chronic wanderers or to  restrict their mobile independence. In simple terms, the solution permits regular movement of care givers, guests, other residents  or family members through a protected doorway while preventing un-supervised wanderers  from passing out of the monitored area unnoticed.
  Each 'Wanderer' is issued a reusable wrist-worn Elpas Healthcare Positioning Tag that allows the resident free and unregulated movement within the allowed interior area of the building. Should the resident approach the protected door through which he or she is not allowed to pass,  near-exit alert functionalities will auto-trigger.
