The SpiderAlert MCT-201 WPS Staff Attack Transmitter is a mobile emergency call radio
transmitter. The device is designed to protect staff
members in high-risk environments such as correctional facilities,
secure psychiatric units, acute care hospitals
and custodial care homes from patient/inmate violence.
The SpiderAlert Staff Attack
Transmitter features an emergency Panic Button for
Personnel Safety, which provides User Reassurance that
immediate help is always nearby. Pressing the panic button triggers
the transmitter to emit UHF and supplemental IR message code
transmissions that are used to determine the exact location of the
emergency to Room Level with Sub-Room Level Precision
as well as to Identify the specific individual under attack.
The
SpiderAlert Staff Attack Transmitter
may be worn as a neck pendent or attached to most key rings.
Made of tough ABS thermoplastic, its field-proven design is both
Waterproof, Shock Resistant and contains no moving
parts.
Powered by one
alkaline battery; the
Staff Attack Transmitter
is energy efficient, providing up to three years of service
before needing replacement.
